From November 24-28, 2016, the students, teachers, local artists and community audiences in Mariveles-Bataan, Pila-Laguna and Batangas City will experience folk dances, rondalla and chorale music that will be performed by the DAGYAW BAILE of the Iloilo National High School; KABATAANG SILAY RONDALLA of Silay City under Music Director/Trainor Jegger Anjao; and the UNIVERSITY OF THE VISAYAS CHORALE of Cebu City under choirmaster Anna Abeleda-Piquiero. The Visayas Collaborative Production was conceptualized and directed by Ma. Lourdes Josefa Lopez (a playwright, director, actor from Bacolod who is currently the Executive Director of the Negros Museum), assisted by Ria Espanola from Iloilo, a teacher/choreographer and artistic director of Dagyaw Baile. The outreach performance tour in Luzon is the third phase of the Ugnayan Sa Sining tours which started in 2014.
